Our Executive Director, ‘Deremi Atanda, alongside Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof Umar Danbatta, and others will be speaking at the 2021 edition of The Bullion Lecture.
The Bullion Lecture, a platform conceptualised by Centre for Financial Journalism (CFJ Nigeria) for lively discourse on national and international issues, will hold from 10am on Thursday, March 11, 2021 virtually and in-person.
Atanda, an African tech expert and one that has featured on TEDxIkeja, African FinTech Foundry, African Business Forum of Stanford University, CNBC Africa and Channels TV, among other notable platforms, would join Chizor Malize, Managing Director of Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC), to serve as panelists who would share insights on various aspects of the national economy for growth and progress.
Prof Danbatta, a renowned scholar and nation builder, would deliver the keynote lecture with keen focus on telecoms, digital banking and the nation’s economic development.
According to the organisers, the lecture will be chaired by Dr. Segun Aina, President, Africa FinTech Network and former President/Chairman of Council, The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
Expected guests at the lecture include captains of industry, banking industry executives, ICT professionals, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of multilateral institutions, senior media executives and other journalists, government officials, and members of the public.
